OUR MISSION
To cultivate strong affinity among people of African descent to build an impactful African Diaspora Community in Leduc and Parkland Counties.
Our Vision
To build a strong community of people of African descent that seek to help each other, and to positively contribute to the broader community in Leduc and Parkland Counties.

OUR JOURNEY
The Leduc and Parkland Counties have seen a significant increase in the African Diaspora community over the past ten years. And every growing community needs a vibrant and uniquely positioned organization to provide long-term leadership. The Black Impact Alliance Foundation answered to this. It was founded in 2023 by Flora Trebi-Ollennu along with founding members: John Adjaye, Frederick Mampio, Best Udinyiwe, and Bibi Lawal. Noa Aliu is the youth representative. The vision for collaborative and innovative ways to build a stronger and engaged African Diaspora community in Leduc and Parkland Counties and surrounding regions has become a reality to celebrate.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Black Impact Alliance Foundation (BIAF) builds on the history, traditions and faith of the Black Settlers of Alberta. Their resilience, fortitude, happiness in the midst of struggles and forward-looking attitude were framed by their Christian faith. Thus the church community was the driver for transformational change and hope. BIAF will continue to nurture and build upon their history and traditions framed within same Biblical principles and philosophy:
TRUTH, LOVE & JUSTICE.
